Cyber-Physical Security of Critical Processes for Crucial Functions in Society


As many other organisations and sectors, the actors in the public transport sector have described processes and plans for managing their daily operation as well as emergencies. But the plans are spread over various documents and organisations that need to be continuously rehearsed and updated. Moreover, the dependencies on ICT and the consequences of combined cyber-physical emergencies or attacks are at best fragmented.

At the seminar we will present the results of the ProSec project supported by the Royal Danish Defence College from June 2015 to March 2016 to research state of the art and techniques for Mapping Emergency and Security Processes in the Danish Public Transport Sector and their Dependency on ICT.

Even though the techniques have been researched in the context of the transport sector, the challenges and methods have relevance for every organisation or company depending on collaborative processes spanning humans and IT, and dealing with security and compliance requirements.
