Jenkins CI Code Camp 2013

A full day workshop staring at 9:30 (...on the day before the Copenhagen'13 User Event) and ending with pizza and coke at around 18:00.

The format of the Code Camp is inspired by Open Space Technology where focus is dictated by constituency, which secures high levels of active participation from attendees.

Bring your own topics! One or two weeks before, when the Code Camp closes in, we will contact the attendees and make a "call for topics". The different topic suggestions will all be added to a backlog and at the Code Camp we will simply cast votes to find the most popular ones. Then we split out into smaller groups and work with these topics in timeboxed sessions.

The Code Camp will be open to both developers with prior Jenkins CI development experience as well as developers with some Java experience who are impatient to get started and want an intraveineuse shot of Jenkins! - this is it!

You don't have to have a lot of ideas yourself in order to participate. We guarantee that there will be a lot of interesting topics and each session will have an designated facilitator. Very efficient and very fun!

Due to the success of last years Code Camp we have arranged for an additional venue allowing us to raise the number of participants. So beside from our office facilities we will this year have access to the nearby Mungo Park Theatre.

The Code Camp will be visited by skilled programmers from Praqma, CloudBees, Switch::Gears, Sony Mobile and Master students from Copenhagen University, Dept. of Computer Science, who are all among the sponsors. The founding father of Jenkins, Kohsuke Kawaguchi will also attend, allowing for an exclusive opportunity to work and learn from the man behind it all.

The Code Camp will have it's own online Trello board to capture topics, ideas, discussions, findings, and results.

If you are not already a FOP (Friend of Praqma), sign up on the FOP mail list or follow Praqma on Twitter - and keep an eye on the hash tag #jcicph13 so you won't miss a thing!

Seats are limited (30) - so if you wanna go, don't hesitate!
