Future Technologies in Smart Society

Formiddag (11.20-12.00)

Disse informationsteknologier vil forandre alt – inden for ti år (DK)

Hvad driver udviklingen? Hvad er på vej? Hvad kommer det til at betyde for arbejde/virksomheder/mennesker?

eAngles (DK)

Oplægsholder: Jan Madsen, professor, DTU Compute

eAngles are tiny healthcare companions which continuously collect, process and transmit data about our health condition, protecting us against diseases and warning us against potentially threatening environmental conditions. Devices that allow us to live a safe and secure life.

Eftermiddag (13.50-14.30)

Drones (DK)

Oplægsholder: Anders la Cour-Harbo, Lektor, PhD, Aalborg Universitet

Drones is an emerging technology that has grown extensively in the past few years. Both industry and academia are spending significant resources on development in this field. But while the potential is huge and the applications are many, reliability of the technology and the aviation regulation is a challenge and will be for some years. This presentation will focus on opportunities as well as challenges.

Drones (EN)

Oplægsholder: Michael Messerschmidt, Sky-Watch

Drones are here to stay, and Drones are one of the game changing technologies in the 21 century. They have the potential to revolutionize how many of our daily tasks can be solved thereby making the most of our limited time. Drones in the air have recently been subject to massive attention and are now more popular than ever both in the government arena and for private consumers. In the presentation I am going to address some of the vital issues for this technology to reach its full potential from a societal and technology perspective.
