Rikke Koch, Alexandra Instituttet

Rikke Koch has been working within the field of wearables since 2008 when she started the special interest group for intelligent textiles within InfinIT. She works with development of concepts, interaction design and user involvement in the development process. Her focus is on cooperation between industry and academia and she has been involved in developing the prototypes: Climate Dress, Solar Bag, Memory Bag, UV Dress, Hammock, Life Saving Textiles, Yoga Suit.

Previously she has been teaching at the Department of Media, Cognition & Communication at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on development of new technologies, the roles of the user, the societal structures and organizational cultures in shaping the new technology.
